Life Support (Grace Medical #3)

I must start off by saying that I am really starting to like Candace Calvert! I have only read a few of her books but I have really enjoyed them!

Lauren Barclay continues to put her life on hold in order to help her sister. That is why she left her job and moved back to Houston. The move back home came with a price. She would have to deal with the PA that not only put her family through hell, but left Lauren with feelings that won't go away.

Elijah Landry is a single father who knows all to well about stormy relationships. In fact, he is out of sorts with his father but that won't stop him from protecting his disabled brother.

A storm is fiercely moving in and so are his feelings towards Lauren. Houston is about to get hit with some grueling weather. When the storm is over and everything is calm, will the stormy relationships that both Eli and Lauren know all to well, be calm as well?

Rescue Team (Grace Medical #2)

Kate Callison has been running from her past for years. She has worked in many hospitals within different cities and states. She has taken a temporary position at Austin Grace Hospital in Texas as a ER Director. A position that she hopes will turn into something permanent. However, the minute she walks into the hospital, she is faced with crime tape, legal, and total chaos.

Wes Tanner, a search and rescue hero, can't seem to let the past go. His first run in with Kate is less than pleasant. However, there is something about her that seems lost. Something that draws him in wanting to help her.

The more time that Kate and Wes spend together, the more they like each other. Will Kate stop running and let her heart finally love? Will Wes be able to let go of the past and move forward?

Ain't She Sweet (Green Mountain #6)

This is by far my favorite book so far in this series! I love Charley & Tyler's love story!

"I knew that too."
"What did you know?"
"That if I kissed you once, I'd never want to kiss anyone ever again."

Tyler has been asking Charley Abbot out for what seems like years and every time she turns him down. When Charley joined running club, he saw this as his opportunity to prove to her that she is all wrong about him. Wish I could say that Charley was happy to find out that Tyler was in running club as well, but she wasn't.

Charley has no intention of finding "happily ever after". In fact, she is content with no strings attached or at least she thought she was until Tyler wore her down. Will Charley go against everything she has known for this one man??

I love the fact that Charley is this stubborn, independent woman. She knows exactly what she wants and what she doesn't want. In past books, she has always been so witty, so not the woman who falls in love. In this book however, we saw a different side to her. We saw a vulnerable side. We saw this woman fall head over heels in love with an amazing man!
